By registering a device or using My Laptop Warranty services, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Coverage Details, Data Liability Waiver, and Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using My Laptop Warranty services, you accept and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Waiting Periods - Anti-Fraud Protection

30-DAY INITIAL WAITING PERIOD: Claims cannot be filed until 30 days after device registration.

90-DAY ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE PERIOD: Accidental damage coverage requires 90 days from plan activation.

Devices with pre-existing conditions will have claims denied. Fraudulent registration may result in account termination and legal action.

3. Data Liability - YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR DATA UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

You MUST backup all data before shipping. Repairs may require data wiping or drive replacement. We do not perform data recovery.

By submitting a device, you release My Laptop Warranty from ANY liability for data loss, corruption, theft, or privacy breaches.

4. Deductibles Based on Device Value

Deductibles based on current replacement value:

  • • $0-$500: Plan-based labor ($10-$20) + parts per plan
  • • $501-$1,000: $35 labor + parts at cost + 5%
  • • $1,001-$1,500: $50 labor + parts at cost + 10%
  • • $1,501+: $75 labor + parts at cost + 15%

Total cost capped at 80% of replacement value. May offer replacement instead of repair.

5. Claim Limits and Abuse Prevention
  • Free Plan: 1 claim per year
  • Basic Plan: 2 claims per year
  • Premium Plan: 3 claims per year

Excessive claims may trigger fraud investigation. Patterns of abuse result in termination.

6. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months or $100, whichever is greater.

NOT LIABLE FOR: Data loss, business interruption, lost profits, consequential damages, or shipping damage.

7. Dispute Resolution

Disputes resolved through binding arbitration. You waive right to class actions. Arbitration in Delaware under AAA rules.
